Chocolate protein cookies

When I can experiment with new recipes and healthy recipes at that. I am happy. It’s one thing I love to do. On contest prep that was one big thing that I really missed so its nice getting back to that. To make these cookies I used
3/4 cup almond meal/flour
2 scoops chocolate whey protein
1/4 cup cocoa powder
2 tbs pb2
1/8 tsp baking powder
2 egg whites
1/8 cup honey

Mix everything together. Will be very thick and sticky like cookie dough. Spoon 6 cookies on a sprayed baking pan. I created little caves in each cookie and added peanut butter co dark chocolate dreams peanut butter to the center then added the tiny bit of cookie mix I had to the top of each cookie covering the peanut butter. Baked on 350 for about 10mins

Granola Bars

1/2 cup Natural peanut butter
1/2 cup Honey
2 cup Oats
2 tbs ground flaxseed
1 cup total of whatever you like (example cranberries raising almonds and walnuts)

Add in a bowl peanut butter and honey. Heat in microwave about 20 seconds to soften. (can skip this part. May require longer set time in the fridge but makes it easier to stir) Stir in all ingredients. Put in a pan sprayed with non stick cooking spray. Flatten. And let set in fridge for 2 hours. Cut into bars and enjoy! This recipe I made about 18 at 140 calories each!

Freeze Pops

This is so simple!! Literally the steps is everything you see.
I took the left over berries I had which was strawberries, raspberries, and blackberries. I added about 1/2 cup vanilla Greek yogurt. Mixed it all together then filled the cups. Put them in the freezer and came out with these healthy frozen treats!

Protein Bars

Homemade protein bars!!! Yummm.

4 scoops of chocolate whey protein powder.
2 cups of oats
1/2 cup milk
5 tablespoons peanut butter

Where you can get creative. This is what I added:
1TB flaxseed
5 packets stevia
1/8 cup dark chocolate chips

Put the peanut butter and milk in a bowl. Microwave the peanut butter and milk for 30 seconds to soften it so it mixes better. Add the protein powder and mix well. Fold in oats. Then add remaining ingredients. Put into a pan that is sprayed with non stick spray. Push it down with your hand or spatula. Put in fridge for 2 hours. Cut and enjoy!
Should make 12 bars for about 130 calories and 10g protein each

Healthy snack

One of my favorite sweet snacks to have. PB on a banana! Yummm. With the banana you are getting a great source of fiber and potassium and the PB gives you protein and the good healthy fat. Healthy and tasty. Can’t beat it.

Kale chips

I found a new healthy snack from my fellow blogger fitfoodiele. Kale chips. I HATED kale growing up. And I was very skeptical about even attempting this. But I make kale chips and they are actually REALLY GOOD. I can’t believe it. And it’s so easy to make. Nice healthy snack.
