Personal Challenge

I am challenging myself to clean eating!!!! I have started today and so far it’s going well. Only got through half of one day…lol. But I already have overcome 2 temptations. One is fresh baked cookies. Absolute weakness. And 2 the jar of candy that is kept at work. So I made my meal plan for the week and grocery shopping is done. let’s see how this first week goes. But I would like to make it to the end of may! Go meeeee!!!!

    You can do this! I find that weighing and prepping all of my food at least a day in advance takes away any reason to not follow my nutrition plan! My husband and I look like we have a tupperwear problem, lol.

      Well I got the prepping the night before down. But I have no scale. I have almost thought about buying one!

        It honestly is a necessity, you don’t need a super expensive one…although I wish I had a digital one that switch between standard and metric. Weighing your food is much less objective than measuring out a cup of something– a food’s weight isn’t going to change unlike measuring with a scoop where you can sometimes pack the food in a little tighter 🙂 Keep it up!!

        I’ve even seen some where the nutrition facts are shown on the scale. Seems weird but yea. So I’ll definitely look into one. Thanks for the advice

    You will feel better and better as you eat more fresh food and less processed stuff. Any cravings will pass after a couple of weeks also…well, maybe not 100% but not screaming all the time. LOL

      Lol yes! I need my daily cravings to go away!!! I’m sure the first 2 weeks will be the toughest!

        How do you use a food scale versus counting calories?

        You may know how many calories is in 4oz of chicken. But how do you know how much 4 oz of chicken is? That is where the scale comes in.
