Protein pancakes part 2

I tried a new recipe from oxygen magazine for protein pancakes. I like this recipe better than the first I tried mostly because of the simplicity of it.

What you need:
1/2 cup old fashion oats
1 tbs ground flaxseed
1 scoop vanilla whey protein powder
2 egg whites
1/3 cup cottage cheese

You put all those ingredients into the blender and blend it! (duh 😉 lol) stick it in the fridge for 3 minutes and cook on medium heat.

My own lil twist. I added half a banana to the blender with the other ingredients and after it was all blended I added chopped walnuts.

The recipe says it serves 1 but with me adding the banana I got a bit more batter than one person may need.

The nutrition facts are from the magazine so it doesn’t include the half banana and walnuts.

Calories 180. Total fat 6g. Sat fat 1g. Trans fat 0g. Cholesterol 20mg. Sodium 170mg. Carbs 35g. Fiber 6g. Sugar 4g. Protein 42g. Iron 2mg.
